Immediately from the critiques this struck my eye. The shot is beautiful, especially the way the city fades into the sky with each passing layer. To me this shot embodies this city, you can almost feel as if you were there. Your vision on this shot is amazing, the sun is the focal point, yet the tall building balances the weight of the picture. The sun is stunning, it reaches out across the sky and draws you to it. The way you captured the sky makes it seem like it is coming down from the heavens. To me the technique and impact get 5 stars based on the way it takes your breath away, this is truly a "Once in a lifetime shot."
