Sorry guys, actually it's sage, not lavender. I took a lot of pictures in a lavender patch and in a sage patch, so I must have interchanged them. Sorry.
How eye-catching. A beautiful, near monochromatic scene, if not for the splash of difference in the feasting bee. I could complain a little how centered he is, but having taken scenes like this myself, I understand how typically praised off-centered focus is not always ideal. The photograph is misty like the morning, which is emphasized by your appropriate title. The details that pop out are incredible. You've delightfully obeyed the rule of thirds, with the stalk to the left, the bee attached, and the mostly blurred stalk to the right. Thus, the photo feels balanced. I must reiterate how appropriately titled this photograph is. Lavender- the consuming colour scheme. Breakfast- the only action, with so many implications. Overall, nicely captured.
