when pointing up the verticals get leaned - I don't appreciate that - it's always something I try to avoid. the inverted light might work well with another composition.
the photo grabs your attention but in the end you don't remove any "emotional" information from it.
Hmm, I don't think so. I stood in front of this building the first time and was impressed. This giant glas-building wants to show the empire of this bank. And I thought I have to catch this, but I wasn't satisfied with the result, because I couldn't get the main point. So I tried to take a panoramic shot and want to invert this, to show the largeness of this building, but in a different way - an abnormal, menacing way. I have a very confusing emotion to this picture, because I think this building is really stunning, but the largeness, the strength of it makes me frightened. Not only this, but also the way it's used for. It's a symbol for capitalism and I think a symbol of what's wrong with this kind of capitalism (by the way, I'm not a socialist or communist). The rich one keep their money and will be richer, the poor gets less. But at some point a bank can't go on with that, because there are no people anymore, who can give them their money. It's a self destruction. What's going on in europe right now? You're from portugal, eh? Some or most people in your country know, what's going on. The economy is more important than the people in a country. Most people in germany won't hear something like that. But we can't go on like this, we have to work together. This means we have to make our lives more balanced. I don't think a bank have to be saved, I think people have to be saved first. Now, these are my emotions when I see this. I hope I didn't bore you.
